This edition has been produced in the most unprecedented time. The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic that hit the world as the year 2020 started did not spare Kenya. Its full impact on the country may only emerge in the next edition. But Kenyans are hurting since many of them have lost livelihoods as a many businesses suffer the adverse effects of the pandemic. Government programmes and services were affected as resources had to be scrambled to fight the disease and cushion vulnerable citizens. Schools and colleges closed for a whole academic year.
